This Request for Tender (the “RFT”) is an invitation by the Corporation of Norfolk County (“Norfolk County”) to prospective Bidders to submit bids for two (2) separate stormwater management projects. The first project involves the rehabilitation of the Somerset Phase 5 Stormwater Management Facility (SWM-PD7) in Port Dover. This work includes establishing temporary access, dewatering, removal of accumulated sediment, replacement of the outlet structure, erosion protection, and full site restoration including topsoil and hydroseeding. Phragmites management may also be required. The second project is a minor cleanout of the Pine Ridge Estate Stormwater Management Facility (SWM-PD1) in Port Dover. This work includes localized dewatering, aquatic wildlife capture, and removal of a small volume of sediment from the forebay area to restore limited functionality, as further described in Section A of the RFT Particulars (Appendix C) (the “Deliverables”).
