This Request for Tender (the “RFT”) is an invitation by the Corporation of Norfolk County (“Norfolk County”) to prospective Bidders to submit bids for the removal and replacement of the existing clarifier at the Port Dover Water Treatment Plant (WTP) with a new dissolved air flotation (DAF) treatment system. This includes installation of the new DAF system, process and mechanical upgrades, electrical and instrumentation upgrades, building rehabilitation, and site civil upgrades. In addition, a mobile membrane treatment system shall be employed to allow the WTP to remain in operation during the construction period. The DAF system and the membrane trailer rental have been pre-purchased under separate contracts.
